I try not to be an alarmist. We struggle to meet the bills for the rescue most months but it has been better this year (still a lot out of our pockets but better). BUT…we have 45 dogs in shelter and are down to 6 bags of dog food! That is about 3 days! The pantries we use(Greater Good Charities) have none to share! We need you! We need old frozen food, ugly vegetables ( no onion family for dogs), I will fix stew. I already used our hog and deer bones, organ meat, etc. We need bagged dog food, ANY kind. We need wet dog food, ANY kind. We need Dog Treats, ANY kind. Please get us through this food drought. The Donation box is still up front or we can arrange to pick up. These pups need to keep eating until someone gives them a furever home!🐾

On Friday we had the privilege of going to Bleckley County Elementary School for career day! We had a blast teaching kids all about brushing, cutting, and bathing dogs! My sidekick Waylon also came along and loved getting all the attention. 🫶🏻🐾💓
