šŸ¾As I sit down to write this, my heart is heavy. Over the last 2 1/2 years, I have gotten to know so many of you and your fur babies. Iā€™ve laughed, Iā€™ve cried. Iā€™ve watched many of them grow from puppies, and Iā€™ve watched as some came in for their last groom. Being a groomer has been a joy for me. Iā€™ve made new friends and realized what a great community I moved to. You all gave me a chance when I first moved here without knowing anything about me. You built my business and made it bigger than I ever dreamed. I will forever be grateful for you and your fur babies. Grooming is not for the weak lol. Many of you saw the hours that I put in. 10-12 hour days were normal for me. I had over 1,500 animals I was taking care of. None of that could have happened without you. As most of you know, Iā€™ve been at a new job since October. At the time, I wasnā€™t for sure what my grooming future looked like. As of right now, I believe the best decision for me and my family is to walk away from grooming. It does break my heart, but my physical and mental health have improved and I feel in my heart that itā€™s time. I canā€™t say thank you enough for the support, love and encouragement I have received over the last few years! I love and will miss you all!šŸ¾

šŸ¾Just an updateā€¦I am still in training for 911. I do not have a date that I am opening back up yet. Training is taking up most of my time right now. I understand if you need to look elsewhere for a groomer during this time. šŸ¾

The shop will be closed all month due to my training. I understand how frustrating this can be and understand if you need to reach out to another groomer during this time. I apologize for any inconvenience. Please be patient with me as I am trying to do what is best for my family and health. Most of you understand what I go through day to day trying to give your fur babies the best care I can. At this time, it is only me at the shop trying to groom, bathe, be receptionists and clean up accidents. I appreciate all of you who have entrusted me over the last 2 1/2 years with your babies. But at this time, I need to do what is best for me, my family and health. I will do my best to get everything figured out but it may take some time. I am not giving up on you or your fur babies! I love each and everyone of you and them. I hope everyone can understand.

We are going to sell shirts, that can be customized, to help us buy the enclosure and to be able to take care of the babies until they are adopted. None of this money goes to the shop cats or the shop. You can have more than 3 dogs, these are just samples.šŸ›‘

Today is bittersweetā€¦although Iā€™m very sad, Iā€™m also so proud of her. As many of you have met her, Savannah will be leaving us today to go back to school full time. She has been an amazing asset to the business and has grown to love your fur babies as much as I do. I couldnā€™t be more proud of her! Everyone wish her good luck as she begins her new journey!
