Before & After Dental Cleaning! 🦷✨

🐾 Before: Bad breath, plaque, and tartar buildup.
Poor dental health might not be easy to spot because two-thirds of your pet’s teeth reside under the gum line. Undetected dental problems can impact your pet's overall well-being.

🌟 After: A professional dental cleaning can work wonders! Look at that sparkling smile – clean, healthy teeth, and a happy, more comfortable pet!

🦷🐾 Today, Dr. Katie Rohrig shares tips on how to keep your pet's teeth healthy.

Danville Family Vet is launching a series of posts dedicated to the dental health of your beloved animals! Proper oral health is crucial to your pets' overall well-being, so we are shedding light on the signs that may hint at potential dental problems in your fur-babies.

If you notice bad breath or excessive drooling in your pet, this could be a sign of dental problems.
🚨 Excessive Drooling: While some pets drool naturally, sudden or increased drooling can indicate oral discomfort or gum disease.
🚨 Unpleasant Breath: Bad breath isn't always just 'doggy breath'; it might signal dental issues like plaque buildup or oral infection.

👀 What to Watch For:
Pets may also show signs of discomfort or changes in their behavior. Keep an eye out for reluctance to eat, suddenly dropping food, or pawing at their mouth or face. These could indicate dental pain or oral issues.

🤔 What to do?
Stay Vigilant! If you notice any changes in your pet's behavior or oral health, it's time for a dental exam.
