As I care for my pets during the hospice stage of their lives, I'm reminded of the importance of compassion and kindness. By removing all food restrictions, I'm able to show Zoey that her happiness is my top priority. She's lost all interest in dog food, and I'm happy to provide her with the foods she loves. Not everyone may agree with this approach, but I believe it's essential to prioritize her comfort and joy. Her new diet has consisted of meat and potatoes, and I've enjoyed cooking every meal for her. Tonight's steak and potatoes was a huge success, and the tail wag was a beautiful expression of her appreciation. Compared to the nose turn of this morning's hamburger and oatmeal, it's clear she has a refined palate. Seeing her happy is the greatest reward, and I feel grateful to be able to provide her with the love and care she deserves. Hospice may be challenging, but it's also an opportunity to show my pet how much I love them. ❤️

I am deeply honored and grateful for this incredible journey toward certification in hospice and palliative care. This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of my exceptional team. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to each one of you for your dedication, encouragement, and belief in me. A special thanks to Lorrie for volunteering to create this video to commemorate this milestone. I feel truly blessed to work alongside such talented and compassionate individuals. Together, we make a difference.

My secret confession is that during especially stressful days, I like to come home and watch Bluey. No I don’t have children. 🤣 this was tonight’s episode ❤️🐶

Construction of our new huge treatment room and pharmacy is coming along quickly. Cabinets will be in next week and once that area is done, we will start constructing two additional exam rooms and tech work stations. The flooring and paint throughout the whole hospital will be completed as well. Exciting things are coming!

Dr. Crystal , Tricia, the director of the humane society, and Gladys, her therapy dog, paid a visit to La Petite Academy to teach children about dog bite prevention. We're all about spreading smiles and knowledge! If you have an event or group that needs some tail-wagging fun, give us a bark!
