Working with Louis! While I work a lot with behavioral modification, I also do Puppy Kindergarten. Having a one on one class allows me to focus primarily on your dog, giving them the personalized and tailored lessons for their needs. We go over basic commands, impulse control, and socialization- especially getting them acclimated to different stimuli they may face at the vets and groomers so that they are comfortable and confident when those appointments arrive! Our main goal is always to have you as an owner feel confident with your dog, and for your dog to be as confident and fulfilled as possible- which helps alleviate and avoid behavioral issues.
This is my first lesson with Louis! He is quite determined, and smart!!!
First lesson with Willa. We are going to be working with Willa on her walking skills and reactivity. Normally, Willa pulls so fiercly that it can be hard to keep your footing. I worked first with Willa and then handed her over to mom. In just one lesson, she is learning the ropes, and mom is gaining confidence with her!
I love working with these dogs!
Using Enzo as a demo dog in a training session with Leo, who was a pretty hyper, reactive pup. Everyone did so well!
Saying goodbye to Petey! Today was my last day walking his sister before they all move out of state! I will miss this cat so much along with Sonny and our quiet walks together!
I did multiple training sessions in public places this week to help with confidence, impulse control and socialization! Everyone did fantastic! Here is Leo walking proudly around Home Depot this week ❤️
Why Impulse control is important! We have an underground fence and this family of turkeys decided to take a tour through our yard- within Enzo's perimeters! Such a good boy listening ❤️🐾

Working with River! River is an extremely happy, gregarious dog who needs help with not jumping on people. Within the first lesson, we were able to keep him calm with lots of stimuli around him!
Leo is a 10 month old (large) Rhodesian Ridgeback who needed help with walking (not pulling) and jumping with excitement! We like to keep our dogs happy and fulfilled but stop the unwanted jumping. This is my second session working with Leo and his family and look at how nicely he was walking for mom and dad!
It is always advantageous to keep in mind breed, age and needs of the dog and work accordingly with them to create a fulfilled and balanced dog! 🐾🐾
Working on "leave it" with Maizy (only a little over 5 months old!) She is one fast learner! This command is imperative to teach because we never know when we may drop something that we don't want our dogs to get into for their own protection (like accidentally dropping a pill)

First training session with Maddie on walking nicely for mom and not pulling and working on reactiveness. Look at how amazing she is doing in one session!

First session with Maddie --- we are working on her not pulling (look at how incredible she did!!) and will work on reactiveness on leash. We successfully walked past lots of distractions today and she aced it!
First I work with the dogs and once I have been able to successfully master redirecting them, I give the tools and directions to owners so they can master being able to work with their dog successfully. David snagged a video of me after I worked with Bo and handed him over to mom so she can walk him past David and Enzo without Bo escalating and reacting. Look at how fantastic he (and mom!) did!
Another success! I met Stella's mom 2 weeks ago. She contacted me with concerns over her leash reactive Golden. We had one session last week to build a good foundation and then this week we brought Enzo in. I walked Stella and showed mom the way to walk and redirect her so we don't lose control; and here she is at the end of the lesson walking Stella on her own past Enzo! I love seeing people's confidence in themselves and their dogs grow.
My mother in law got a short video of me training a 16 week old puppy "wait" and recall commands. Always making it a positive, non frustrating process; especially for puppies and taking into consideration their attention span! Video is a little blurry but I am grateful she let us use her yard and got this clip!

Impulse control with Bella! We always want our dogs to look to us for guidance; life happens and sometimes we may drop something that can be harmful to our dogs or we pass things on walks that we don't want them to get into... teaching the "leave it" command is crucial!
Teaching Tara the "leave it" command and she caught on super quickly!

Silfa and Skyr enjoying and sharing their breakfast with each other! They're so adorable!
Rudy is enjoying getting his nails done by us peasants! Thinking of changing the business name to Pampered Pugs! 😭😍🐾
Started using Enzo on training sessions today to help guide and direct reactive dogs. So proud of my boy! All that work I put in him has paid off. The dog I have been training for the past month was extremely reactive on the leash to other dogs and I started with building blocks and showing mom how to immediately spot her dog escalating and how to redirect him.
We took 2 sessions to work on Maddie's recall - this is the second session focusing on it! She is a quick learner! So proud of herself and ready for praise and belly rubs! In the past, she has run the other direction from her momma when called. We aim to make it a positive experience so her recall is strong!
