As I sit here on Christmas Eve and reflect on the last year , I feel a deep sense of gratitude for all my staff and our customers ! My staff may as well be family ! I’m so lucky to have them ! Sierra, Carrington, Hannah,Jessica, and recently James, you will always be in my heart for you caring attitude, especially when I was in the hospital ! Not to mention Laura and Cassidy (that no longer worked there)who all came and checked on me , even when some of my family didn’t. I will never forget you kindness and caring !! I am forever grateful and blessed to have you all in my life !! Thank you to all our customers who stayed with us through the years ! We , just like all businesses have had our ups and downs but for those that cared enough to seek the truth and knew us personally stuck with us ! I appreciate you all !! Hollywood Pets is currently seeking an experienced Doggie Day Care attendant!
Duties to include, but are not limited to: supervising dogs at play, coordinating daycare groups, performing socialization tests, preparing food and feeding dogs, and general cleaning and maintaining of the play areas. There will also be some inside kennel duties as well. Must be able to start at 6:30 AM for morning shifts and be available until 6 PM for afternoon shifts. You will be required to work weekends and holidays. Holiday shifts pay time and ½. Pay is hourly and starts at $13.00/hr. The more experience the better the pay! Hours vary but usually 30-35hrs/week. Dear Customers, In light of the recent number of upper respiratory infections being reported and treated by local vets, we are diligently increasing our cleaning and sanitizing practices. This includes an intense sanitization of all outdoor turf and runs along with frequently changing water buckets. We have also made sure our air filters are clean and indoor partitions are dust free and sanitized. We are seeing dogs affected from a few days to 2 weeks. Some of these dogs have not visited our facility in months so we know it is not limited to us. Most of the vets I have spoken with are terming this as some sort of bronchitis rather than kennel cough or K9 influenza If you have concerns about board or daycare please free to contact us and we will share any updated information we have. If this goes unchecked much longer we may consider closing down for a period of time. We are not willing to risk the well being of our pets for the sake of a few dollars. We will keep you advised.
