Just a reminder about some of our longer term residents who would love an adoptive or foster(even if temporary) home! Getting to see how each of them do around things such as other pets, children, day to day life, and house training helps more than we can say when it comes to adoptions!

We do have some things that are important for our fosters to have simply for the safety of our babies, your babies, and ease of experience!

- A fenced in yard or a plan to monitor/ be with them when they are going outside the home.
- Other pets in the home being up to date on vaccines and preventatives as our babies are in order to prevent the spread of any germs.
- The most important is a little bit of time to spend with them each day in order to help them become their best selves!

We have dogs of all ages, shapes, sizes, personalities, and energy levels looking for a foster! If you have any questions about whether you might be a good fit or are interested in finding out more, please send us a message or fill out the foster application found on our website!

Meet Sesame!!

This girl joined us after we picked her up off the side of the road in front of a dump about three weeks ago. She was sitting in the middle of the road and immediately jumped up and down with relief on the side of the car once she realized she was getting help!

Seaseme does seem to have had a home at one point, but no one claimed her since being with us. She had a limp when coming to us, but has since recovered from it. Seaseme is a super happy girl who loves everyone she meets! As with any husky, she does like to talk and is fully of energy. She also loves to cuddle, walks well on a leash, keeps a clean crate, loves all animals she meets, and is the sweetest girl!

She is around 2 years old and about 45lbs. Sesame is fully vetted including spay, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention, current on flea and tick prevention, fully vaccinated, and has received wormer + a course of albon.

Welcome Cassidy to Rescue!

This sweet girl was turned into the shelter as a stray showing obvious signs of neglect. She was turned in with her friend Peanut, a chihuahua who we will post soon.

Cassidy is infested with worms! Her belly is so round to the point you can’t tell the extent of how skinny she really is. She is also covered in wounds + has a fungal infection requiring medicine. She is getting all of the wormer, snacks, and cuddles now that she’s with us!

Despite her background, Cassidy is as precious as can be! She loves to follow around her person + dog friends, sits for food and treats, and tries her best to keep a clean kennel!

We are so thankful for any and all donations that allow us to help babies like Cassidy who are in such dire need!

This week we took in 16 dogs and puppies!!

Meet Scarlett and Rhett!

These two babies were found abandoned at a city dump. They were both severely matted and had to be shaved in order to see the extent of their injuries & medical needs. Scarlett got the worst of it with severe ear infections, scattered wounds and scabs, and terrible eye infections that have left her visually impaired in one eye as well as possibly blind in the other.

As rough as they look, they are only about 5-6 years old. Despite everything they have been through, they are both super happy pups! Rhett enjoys going for walks and playing with other dogs while Scarlett is more laid back and is still adjusting to having limited vision.

We are currently addressing all of their medical issues in addition to vaccines, preventatives, and spay/neuter. As always any and all help will be appreciated! All donations are tax deductible and can be found on the donation tab on our website linked in bio!

Update :

Alina was returned to us due to no fault of her own and is back with her amazing foster family! She truly is the most precious girl who does well with other active doggy friends, cats, and kids. Please consider adopting her!

Happy adoption day for Miss Alina who has been with us since February 16th! We are so thankful to her adoptive family for being the home she deserves + her foster home for the past few weeks helping with her socialization and training!

Please consider giving Alina’s sister or her friends still with us forever or temporary homes!

With all of the furry friends we have been taking in lately and all of their needs + wants, we are running low on some of our most used supplies! We would love some help with some items off of our wishlist!

• Flea and Tick Prevention
• Puppy Food (regular and/or canned)
• Treats of any kind
• 2-3 Large/XL new or gently used dog houses
• blankets, sheets, dog beds, or towels
• Toys of any kind, shape, or size

Meet Camryn!

This precious girl was found at an abandoned house with no food, water, or shelter after a power company worker was sent to shut off power. She was infested with fleas, internal parasites, and despite her little round belly ultimately was starved.

Since being with us, she has been started on appropriate medications, is getting all of the food + treats, has discovered a love for toys and other dog friends, and is even excelling at crate training!

Happy National Black Dog Day!!

Did you know that statistically black dogs have the lowest adoption rate + highest euthanasia rate in shelters? For the life of us we can’t understand why!

There are some of the most beautiful + amazing black dogs at our local shelters as well as here with us that would make a perfect addition to any family! If you’re in the market for a new fuzzy family member, please consider adopting one like our friend Collin and help change the statistics!!

Don’t forget about these two precious kittens available for adoption!!

Little T(black and white) is four months old and Pierre(tabby) is 6 months old. They are both fully vetted including spay/ neuter, FIV negative, up to date on kitten + rabies vaccines, have received courses of wormer + albon, are on flea and tick prevention, and will be microchipped prior to adoption!

Update on our precious, tiny Rikki

Rikki is doing great, her eye is healing well, and she is recovering from a severe infestation of hook worms. She is up to 6lb and loves wet food and treats. She will be ready for spay in a few weeks. Thank everyone for donations to help this little girl.

FOSTERS NEEDED!!!

Tomorrow we are taking in 16 puppies from a local shelter and desperately need fosters! We like to foster puppies in pairs for socialization and companionship!

We provide all the supplies including puppy pads, food, toys, kennels, vet care, etc. All you’d have to do is play with a couple of ridiculously cute puppies for two weeks!

Meet Sammie May!!!

This gorgeous girl joined us a few weeks ago from a local shelter where she was on the euthanasia list simply because of her breed. Since coming to us and learning she will never be put in a position like that again, she has learned to love life!

She is a typical, goofy 5 month old puppy who loves playing with friends + toys, all of the cuddles and kisses, and most importantly snacks! Sammie is doing great at her leash training, learning basic manners, and has mastered crate training!

Sammie is also fully vetted including spay, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention, wormer + meds for intestinal parasites, all vaccines, and microchip!

Sammie May would especially love a forever home of her own! She would also be more than happy in a foster home where she can master all of her skills she’s working on! Please share to find this precious girls perfect furever home!!!
