Spend time with your horse off the barrel pattern, outside of the arena. Do you know your horse's personality, their little quirks that make them unique? It's important to spend time riding, exercising, and training our horses yes. However, it's just as important to spend time grooming, bathing, letting them graze in the good grass on our lead, talking to them as you clean their stalls. Enjoy the little moments just handing out with them in the barn.

A horse that's bonded with their rider will work hard for them. Take the time to be their friend the way they are yours.
