Today will be the last market for awhile. Will be consider changing to a grow to order model in July. If this interests you, please let me know. It is a 10-14 day grow period for planning. Would likely a have a meet up spot for delivery. If local in belforest area, may consider home delivery.

Let’s talk broccoli microgreens!
One of the most popular and common types—why?
They are packed with vitamins and minerals.
A 2017 study in Frontiers in Nutrition found that broccoli microgreens had larger quantities of Magnesium, manganese, copper, and zinc than the full grown vegetable.

They are also high in sulforaphane, a phytonutrient, that may have strong cancer fighting and preventative properties.

How to use:
- side salad by themselves with an easy olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette
- Top your sandwich
- Add to your salad or smoothie
- Sprinkle on avocado toast
One box of broccoli microgreens is about 8 crowns of broccoli!

Good news: Lots of samplers available— perfect for adding to salads, sandwiches, eggs, smoothies, and more!
Bad news: The head grower all the wasabi mustard that was planted ended up being broccoli. Oops 😬 but that just means more broccoli for everyone.
Broccoli is high in sulforaphane and anti cancer fighting phytochemical and loaded with minerals- calcium, potassium, iron, and zinc.

Last week was freezing, this weekend calls for the rain gear. South Alabama keeps you guessing what season it is everyday. The best part about microgreens is that they can grow year round, any temperature outside since they are grown indoors in a climate controlled space.

5 reasons to buy locally grown produce
1. Local food has more nutrients. Our microgreens are cut within 24 hours of market so it is less likely for nutrient value to decrease.
2. Locally grown is more flavorful. Produce is more often picked at the peak of ripeness versus harvested early for shipment.
3. Local food promotes safe food supply. Food grown farther away has potential for more food safety issues with harvesting, washing, shipping, and distribution.
