This little guy was roaming around lost in my apartment complex without tags. He followed me into the building since he clearly lived there, and I fed him a little food and then went walking around the complex looking for his owner. I asked anyone I could find if they recognized the dog. No luck so I called the police and left a message for animal control. Finally another dog owner said she recognized his bark (he barked at her dog). While I would normally say I was delighted to find the owner, I was actually disturbed by the conditions this dog lives in. I knocked at that particular apt door and she eventually answered. The owner was not that concerned that her dog was missing, she was not out looking for him even though he was with me for 2 hours. I've never been in a crack-house but it appeared the owner was on drugs and this apartment is like something out of a movie. The woman wouldn't look at me and it was a very strange vibe. Interested in hearing your thoughts on this...what do you do? Anything? The dog seems to be in decent condition. Maybe I'm being judgmental but I had a very bad feeling.
