Keep those pups cool this week!
My weekly walker, Buddy, just wanted to remind everyone to stay on the grass as much as possible during walks this week. I’m very strict with when I’ll walk your pups and typically avoid walking above 85 degrees unless a walk is absolutely necessary (pet parents are home and we’re unable to do a drop in visit).
If you do walk your furry friends this week, try to walk in the early morning or late evening, stay on the grass, stay in shaded areas, TAKE BREAKS, don’t walk your pups too long just for the sake of mileage, and BRING WATER and a WATER BOWL (communal water bowls can increase the risk of parvo). If your kiddo is a brachycephalic breed, an extra large pup (any XL breed), a thick-haired arctic breed, a senior, or morbidly obese please stay indoors as much as possible this week!
When you’re so hungry that you forget you’re piggy back riding your brother 😆
Today is a WILD day. I’m literally running just trying to keep up. I’m glad someone has a full belly because I sure don’t! These growing boys ate very well and were just loving every second of attention they could get from me this afternoon!
Our girls are PREGNANT 🥰
It has been a very busy few days! I do have emails to check and I’ll try to get to those today!
Once I put their due dates into my calendar, I’ll be officially blocking HOUSE SITTINGS off for part of February, all of March, and part of April. All other services will resume as normal.
Half-sisters, Gemmy and Jazzy, were confirmed to be pregnant via ultrasound yesterday!
Gemmy’s 2-3 kiddos are very lively and seem to have the same dance moves as their big sister, Amy! Jazzy was very hard to read but we found 1 healthy little kiddo! I’m hoping she is hiding an extra baby like her sister did but I’ll be expecting a single kiddo for her first delivery. Not what I was hoping for but single babies for first-timers are common.
I’m happy but very nervous and I’ll be more at ease when our new arrivals are here. I’ve raised both of these girls from weaning and they’ve spent almost their entire lives here on our farm. Now they get to be mamas together 🥹🥰
