This still needs some work but it's my favorite enclosure I've built so far. I need to finish the lighting, get some live plants and maybe more cork tubes, but I like it so far.

All of the tree monitors will get something very similar over the next year. The pairs will have their enclosures connected by a tube that I can cap off so they can be separated while the female lays. The rest of the time they'll be able to roam between the 2 enclosures.

This is a good example of why I ask questions. They wanted to get a 5 month old ackie to put in a 50 gallon enclosure with 2 others that are almost full grown. A 50gal is too small for 1, let alone 3, and they weren't understanding any of the risk of keeping multiple together. I tried to explain but I doubt it did any good. They'll probably just get one somewhere else and learn the hard way. Sad part of the hobby that I can't do anything about, but at least I know it won't be a monitor I produced that's suffering.

I can't wait to see this one all shed out. Their colors are incredible!
