This morning, we harvested our Apple mint for our Pear Mint Dog Treats that will be going in the oven later today. Woof!

Yes, Mint can be beneficial for dogs. Mint is antioxidant rich and contains many nutrients like calcium, magnesium and Vitamins A & C. It can also aid in digestion and help freshen your dog's breath.

That being said, some varieties of Mint can be harmful, like Penny Royal or Wintergreen. Also, human products that contain mint are not safe for dogs.

So make sure you verify the mint products in your dog's treats or leave it to us and grab some of our Pear Mint Treats in our Etsy shop. A healthy, freshening treat made with your pup in mind.
