Ellie knows sit, walks well on a leash, loves to play catch, fetch and takes treats like the lovely gentle lady she is. We’re worried about this guy. We need help. Aston Martin is stressed in the shelter. Like really stressed. 200+ days living in a kennel 23 hours out of the day will do that to you. Our volunteers and staff work hard to get him time out of the kennel for walks (like the one in this video) and enrichment, but that only helps so much. What he really needs is a home. What you didn’t know is that Dreamcast, as well as so many other dogs in our shelter, are some of the sweetest, most playful, and happy dogs! So many people assume dogs that are in the shelter are “different,” but in reality, they’re just like so many of the dogs you see every single day out on walks and at parks, enjoying life. The main difference is that those dogs have a home to sleep in and people who love them unconditionally. So if you’ve been thinking about adding a dog to your home, stop by to see Dreamcast and the rest of our amazing dogs we have available! 💕
Our kitties are super thankful to have a Behavior and Enrichment Team who take the time to make and hand out their special treats! We know it’s stressful at the shelter for our pets, so any normalcy is great for them. 🥹 they get so happy when they see a member of that team! They just know special treats are coming their way!! 🫶🏼🐾😻
