Because great dogs don’t just happen… they are intentionally shaped. ♥️

One of our favorite parts of raising Freedom Ranch puppies is our Puppy Development & Exposure Classes! These classes are a HUGE part of what makes our program so successful. Every time we open the doors and our families show up, ready to learn, laugh, get their hands dirty, and help shape these little lives our hearts could burst. 🥹

From confidence-building exercises
to early obedience
to structured socialization…

These puppies are building the foundation that will shape their entire future and our programs growth.

Our puppies don’t just get raised…
they are poured into.

We put our hearts, our time, our knowledge, and our SOUL into each Labrador we raise. And seeing our village show up, cheering these pups on, helping them try new things, celebrating their wins, that’s what makes this more than a breeding program.

Today we took down the whelping box… and if you know, you know, this moment hits different. 🥹

For five weeks, that little space has held their entire world.

It’s where they took their first breaths, found their mom’s heartbeat, learned to crawl, walk, eyes opened, ears opened, first meal and where we spent countless hours watching them grow and making sure every puppy thrived.

Every blanket change, every late-night check, every tiny weight gain, we were right there.

Today, that chapter closes.

As the box comes down, a new phase begins:
✨ Indoor/outdoor development — learning new sights, sounds, textures, and experiences that shape confidence.
✨ Crate training foundation — teaching independence, routine, and the earliest lessons in structure and calm.

This isn’t “just puppies.”
This is intentional imprinting, purposeful exposure, and raising puppies to become stable, resilient adults.

It’s emotional to watch them leave the safety of the whelping box…
but it’s also powerful to see them step into the world we’ve been preparing them for since before they were even born.

❤️🫶🏻❤️UPDATE — OUR SPECIAL GIRL FOUND HER FOREVER HOME 🇺🇸

Sometimes the right hearts find each other… and this little girl’s story has become nothing short of a miracle.

Our sweet special-needs puppy, the little angel with the pending ectopic ureter diagnosis has been adopted by a local veterinarian and her family.

Yes… a veterinarian.
Her forever family not only understands her medical needs, but has the heart, skill, and compassion to walk every step of this journey with her.

😭 We could not have written a better ending.

✨ This baby girl is going to grow up in a home where:
• Her diaper doesn’t define her
• Her medical condition doesn’t make her “less”
• She is seen, cherished, adored exactly as she is

Her new family fell in love with her gentle, soulful spirit the moment they held her. They didn’t see inconvenience… they saw purpose. They saw worth. They saw their dog.

And that’s what we prayed for. 😭

We will continue to walk alongside them through her healing process and upcoming surgery in the months ahead.
She will never be alone.
She will never be “too much.”
She will only ever be loved.

To everyone who reached out, shared her story, or said her name in hopes that the right person would see her…

💛 SPECIAL NEEDS PUPPY – LOOKING FOR A VERY SPECIAL HOME 💛

Izzy x Poker Litter 🇺🇸

We have a very special little girl from our current Izzy x Poker litter who needs a unique and loving home. At the moment, she has a pending diagnosis of an ectopic ureter.

👉 What does that mean?
An ectopic ureter is a congenital condition where one of the tubes that carries urine from the kidneys doesn’t connect to the bladder in the usual spot. Because of this, she currently cannot fully control her urine, she has little dribbles of p*e that she can’t help. For now, she will need to wear a diaper when she’s not being held or supervised.

✨ The good news:
This condition is fixable. We will be covering the full cost of the corrective surgery ($4,000-6,000 estimated) when she is around 6 months of age, which is typically when specialists prefer to perform the procedure.

🌼 About this sweet girl:
• She is calm, gentle, and incredibly affectionate
• Loves being held and snuggled
• Has a soft soul and an even softer expression
• Will thrive in a quiet, patient, and committed home

She deserves someone who sees her not as “less,” but as extra special. Someone who will cherish her just the way she is while we navigate her medical care together.

We know her person is out there, the kind of human who will look at her and feel that instant connection.

If joy had a soundtrack, it would be the crunch of leaves under little puppy paws.
Our boy Blue (Stevie x Gordo) discovered the magic of fall jumping, pouncing, nose-diving straight into a pile of leaves like it was the greatest playground ever created. 🐶

These are the moments we live for…
