🎉 Puppy class milestone! 🎉

Our Stevie x Gordo boy Jetti had his very first puppy class yesterday at American K9… and let’s just say he totally stole the show. 🐾💙 He’s too freakin’ cute for words and already showing off that sweet temperament and eager-to-learn attitude we love so much in this pairing.

We can’t wait to see him continue to grow, learn, and shine, this little guy has such a bright future ahead! ✨

✨ Meet Hippie ✨

We are truly honored to welcome this incredible 22-month-old girl from Everland Labradors into our program. 💛

Hippie will begin her East Coast show circuit next month, with health clearances set for November. Keep an eye out, this stunner is just getting started, and we’re so excited to watch her journey unfold. 🐾✨

👑🐾 Our mama-to-be, Izzy, is doing absolutely wonderful! At 6 weeks pregnant, she’s looking like a queen, glowing and carrying herself with such grace.

She’s still enjoying her pool swims for exercise (our girl loves the water!) and belly scratches for ultimate relaxation. Life is pretty perfect when you’re growing future champions. 🫶🏻

We just know she’s going to be an incredible mom. With 16+/- days to go until her highly anticipated litter with AM. GCHG. BELQUEST CONCLUSION NO LIMIT POKER ( #1 Labrador 2020) arrives, the excitement around here is unmatched!

And just like that, the very last baby from this litter is off to his forever home. 💙

Our sweet blue collar boy is extra special because he’s not going too far… he’s now owned by our very own Morgan, the heart and soul of Freedom Ranch Labs & AmericanK9’s admin team!

The best part? When your mom works here, you get to come to work every day, so I’ll get to watch this handsome fella grow up right before my eyes. 🐾

I’ve been nudging Morgan for a while now to join the Labrador side (she’s always been a shepherd girl), and it finally worked. 😉 It’s safe to say she’s already head over heels in love with her new boy, fittingly named Blue.

Morgan, Nik, and Ezra have welcomed him with so much love, and I can’t imagine a better home for him. Watching this journey unfold is going to be so special. Congratulations, you guys…. Blue is exactly where he belongs! 🫶🏻

🧬🐾 Why We DNA Test Every Labrador in Our Program 🐾🧬

At Freedom Ranch Labs, we believe the heart of responsible breeding is preserving and bettering the Labrador Retriever for generations to come. That’s why every single Labrador in our program undergoes comprehensive DNA testing before ever being considered for breeding.

One of the most important things we screen for is the dilute gene. While some see these colors as “rare,” the truth is they are not part of the official Labrador standard and can be linked to health concerns like Color Dilution Alopecia (CDA). For that reason, we will never breed a carrier of the dilute gene.

💛🐾 Yellow Collar Girl 🐾💛

This sweet little lady was one of only two girls in the whole litter! Brian & Vincent originally had their hearts set on a yellow female, but when Stevie surprised us with only black girls this round, fate had other plans.

And what a perfect plan it was, they instantly knew this fearless, spicy, eager-to-learn little girl was meant to be theirs. Her name is Zoe, and she’s already proving to be a best friend in the making.

Brian, what a beautiful way to celebrate your retirement, with a loyal companion by your side. And Zoe, you’re headed off to Capitol Hill to be a true D.C. city dog. Something tells me you’ll take it all in stride like the little champ you are. 🏙️🐾

Congratulations, fellas! We couldn’t be happier for you and can’t wait to follow Zoe’s journey as she takes on the world. ❤️

Big day here at Freedom Ranch Labs, we had 6 of our amazing dogs tested today for OFA heart and eye clearances!

Health testing is a cornerstone of our program because we believe in breeding the best, not just in temperament and conformation, but where it truly counts: their health. These screenings are part of our commitment to responsible breeding, and they help us ensure we’re producing the healthiest dogs possible while continuing to improve the breed we love so much.

We’re always learning, growing, and doing the work to raise the bar. Education, preventive testing, and ethical breeding practices are what set us apart.
