Taking our new puppy out for some EXPOSURE training! This is such an important thing to do when you have a new puppy (and no… He wasn’t fully vaccinated when we started doing this). I had a handful of people approach us wanting to pet him and I simply (and kindly) declined and we kept hanging out, watching what was happening and practicing basic training.

That’s what exposure (socialization) training is. Observing the world, learning to handle situations with confidence and exploring.

Direct interaction with others is a different skill set and I’ll talk about that soon and how to go about it 🐶

People underestimate the power of ⭐️MANAGEMENT⭐️ when training their puppy.

Not all training is actual training… trainers use and recommend lots of management.

We used a wire playpen to fence off the things Moses was getting into. Problem solved. Now he can focus on his chew items and toys. No actual training required. Eventually the fence will not be needed and he will maintain his good habits.

What types of management do you use at home?

Check your puppy toys!

Pups outgrow their toys quickly!
If it can fit all the way in their mouth it’s a hazard… choking, blockage, etc.

Not dog related…. But too cute not to share 🥹❤️
My daughter is obsessed with animals (I wonder why 😬😅🥰) and her favorites are horses AND BIG CATS. We watch videos of big cats almost daily and she gets so excited at just the THOUGHT of seeing them in person. Our favorite local sanctuary has a Cheetah named Duma and we always check their social media for new videos… after watching a few the other night I started recording…. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
