Murphy is an 11 year old chihuahua mix who is very vocal and announces his arrival the second he walks through the door. He never fails to make us laugh! Murphy is always ready for whatever the day throws at him whether it’s playtime or cuddles ( or both)!

Today we would like to highlight Rocket and share why consistency is so important to helping your purrfect pup adjust !

Rocket was very nervous during his first day only accepting to kisses from certain staff; he was a very sweet but mellow boy! Over time Rocket came out of his comfort zone and loves playing with the other pups and his chaperones! He always makes Sure to give his chaperone, Rylee, lots of extra cuddles, love, and kisses!

We are glad to see how comfortable he has gotten here in Paradise!

Since Wacky Wednesday launched in 2009, our amazing pet parents have helped us donate nearly $400,000 to animal organizations nationwide. 🐾 This year, each of our resorts have chosen a pet charity local to their community to support and help spread the fun during this Wacky season! From now until October 30th, every day camp visit means $1 donated to these incredible organizations. The more day camp visits, the more we can contribute! 🎊

In honor of World Rabies Day, NewDay Veterinary Care giving a friendly reminder to get your pet's rabies vaccine and/or booster! 🐾💉 This disease is extremely dangerous for both pets and humans — however, vaccinating pets contributes to herd immunity within the pet population, which helps prevent the spread of rabies in the community.

Play yard nerves are common in our smaller guests, and making each guest comfortable happens in a variety of ways.

Some pups feel safer being held higher up compared to other pups. Some pups just want to be next to their trusted chaperone for emotional support. Some pups need extra cuddles and kisses from staff. Some pups like to have the reassurance of another furry companion.

At pet paradises our goal is to make sure our guests feel safe, seen, comfortable and most important loved and the process is different for each pup! ❤️🐾
