We've got another little rescue on our hands here.
This weekend Autumn was at her first Hockey Tournament in Stockton Ca. Between matches, the girls on the team tried to befriend a little stray kitten hanging out around the rink. She was too skittish to come up to people but would hang out close by and solicit food before running away.
By the end of the last game at 10:00 on Sunday night, everyone was so worried about the kitten being left to fend for herself. Autumn asked me to catch her and make sure she finds a safe home.
We named her Puck ;)
She's about 10 weeks old and she was very clearly living outside for quite sometime. We gave her a bath, treated her for ear mites and are getting her a de-wormer. She'll be spayed and vaccinated once she's more healthy and settled in. Then we'll need to find her a home.
Despite living outside on her own- she's surprisingly sweet. She's got the biggest motor-purr and will crawl into your lap once she trusts you.
Thank you Vacaville Jets 14-U team for your big hearts both on and off the ice!!
