Real fences make good neighbors, this includes with wildlife.

An "invisible fence" can't keep other animals out of your yard but a physical fence (mostly) can.

Whether it's a fox, a skunk, a raccoon or even a stray dog a physical fence can greatly reduce the chances of a wildlife encounter with your dog but an "invisible fence" can't. This means the chances of chasing wildlife and getting lost or hit by a car, sprayed by a skunk or quilled by a porcupine are greatly reduced with a physical fence. An invisible fence can't do that because it is not a physical barrier and not an actual fence.
