So I need some info from everyone. These blood clots were in one of the dogs pen this morning. When I went to wash them out instead of dissolving they just broke up into smaller clots. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this, if what do I do about it.

This man was found around Hannah and 6th st. in Davis is anyone missing him or do you know who he belongs to? If so he is at the pound. Super sweet and gentle.

This us Rowdy, he us currently at a foster learning how to be an inside/outside dog. He gets along with other dogs and hasn't tried to escape from the yard so far. If interested in him please contact Chipper.

This lil guy is also available. He is approximately 8 to 10 weeks old. He is being fostered right now but he wants to find his forever family, someone to love and care for him. He is good with other dogs and love to chew on his toys. He is a little but food aggressive but that is about the only thing bad about him right now. He still needs someone to teach and train him some manners. But if you saw him in person you would fall in love with him. He was left at the pound 3 weeks ago and had had 2 shots so far, but still needs the rest of them.

Till we find a home for every furry friend that we have at the shelter, there will be a No Adoption Fee for the adoption of a furry friend. At this time, we have five furry friends just waiting to become your best buddy and family member. All that we ask is that you promise to love and care for them.

It is time for us to do our deep cleaning of the shelter and make any repairs that are needed.

To clarify our donation policy, we are still taking donations that you want to make. If you wish to make a toy donation, please think ahead on the type of toy or chew toy you are donating, make sure it is animal safe and will not cause health issues. The soft chew toys are great but remember some of these animals never had a chew toy and will tear them up. Not only is this a cleaning issue, but the animal may ingest the stuffing, and this can cause major medical issues for the animal. An alternative is the hard rubber toys and chew toys. Example is the “Kong” style toys. They are designed to be chewed on and plus we can clean and sterilize them regularly.

Blankets, everyone loves a warm blanket, and our furry friends are no exception. But again, almost all our animals never had a blanket, and they see them as a great chew toy and something to sherd. Again, this is a cleaning nightmare and if the animal ingests any of the cloth, it can cause major health issues. What we could really use are the hard plastic platforms that are up off the concrete floor and the animal can lay on. They are easy to clean and can be used over and over.

If you wish to make a monetary donation, you can make those at City Hall, just tell the girls up front that is for the Animal Shelter.

If you want to volunteer at the Animal Shelter, just get ahold of Chipper by calling City Hall and they will have him contact you as soon as possible. When calling City Hall ask to be transferred to the Police Department.

We want our animals to be happy and healthy, so that they can be your best buddy and family member. They are just waiting on you to pick them!!

Meet Midnight, he is a Shepard/Wolf ?mix. He needs someone with a stern hand to teach him manners. He was found tied to the fence with another dog. Not altered or shots, not sure of age. Jot just anyone will be able to adopt him, so serious inquiries only please. Contact the ACO Chipper or myself about adopting him.

This baby boy was brought to us on Wednesday so we dont know a lot about him. He is sweet but kinda timid at first. He is unaltered and no shots yet. He just needs someone that will show him lots of love and affection. Please contact ACO Chipper or myself if interested.
