Glitch is a naturally nervous boy after being found on a river bank as an older kitten, but a he is one of the sweetest kittens you’ll ever meet. When he’s uncomfortable he will hiss to express his anxiety, but leans right in to people for reassuring pets. At heart he is a huge snuggle bug and playful boy. Other friendly kitties help bring out his social side and he adores playing with stuffed animals. 🖤

Glitch needs a family who will be patient at earning his trust. He also needs a social kitty friend to live with. Because of his shy nature it’s not recommended he live with large or energetic dogs, as well as children. 🏡

We had an absolutely fantastic weekend at PetSmart! We had 11 adoptions! Impala, Zeus, Harriet, Betty, Firefox, Oliver & Oakley, Squish, Charlie, Jingle, and Gracie, were all adopted! These kitties are so lucky to find their forever homes. We are grateful to our foster parents, volunteers, and PetSmart stard, for making these adoptions possible! Congratulations to our adopters and their kitties!

🩺 Medical Monday 🩺

Our newest mother, Gemini, experienced a sudden decline in health last week. She had been gradually losing weight and then completely stopped eating. After thorough evaluation, our veterinary team found Gemini’s bloodwork to be normal. She has been placed on comprehensive supportive care, including medication and nutrition, to help her recover.

With the new medications, Gemini’s milk is no longer safe for her kittens. They are being bottle-fed and have supervised visits with mom while she rests and heals. Gemini is showing signs of improvement with a perkier attitude and her appetite is returning. We’re hoping to schedule her dental work and spay procedure once she is stable. Her ability to eat will greatly improve and pain will go away with a dental procedure to address her stomatitis.

I am so loving! I enjoy sitting on your lap, chasing little fuzzy balls, and rolling on the floor so you can pet my belly! I’m an absolute delight to hang out. However, I am not a fan of water fountains. I try to dig under them and spill water all over. I do have a habit of trying to run through doors, but I can be stopped with a watchful eye.

Nova is a total goofball - a sweet and playful kitten who's obsessed with being a lap cat. She spends her days lounging on her person or cuddling with another kitten, just spreading love and joy wherever she goes. And when she's not being a snugglebug, she's running around like a maniac, playing with her favorite toys and carrying her beloved blue toy around in her mouth. She also loves climbing the cat tree.

Nova's got a unique little face - one eye's smaller than the other, a condition called microphthalmia that she might've inherited from her parents. She's also cross-eyed! But don't worry, none of this slows her down - she's just a regular, adorable kitten who happens to be a little unique.

Nova needs a partner in crime in her furever home - she requires another kitten or cat in the house to keep her company. Luckily, she gets along swimmingly with cats, dogs, and kids. 🏡

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of meeting Sandy from LosGatos Foster Animals! She stopped by to pick up January's profit sharing donation. LosGatos received quite a few votes last year, but was drowned out from shelters with larger followings. We hope to work together to make these checks a little bigger in the future!
