Everest worked on his neuro developmental sequencing (NDS) during rehab. This means he has to go through the proper steps of re-learning how to walk. For example, he has to be able to go from side lying to sternal (on his chest) to sitting and then standing and eventually walking. It’s very important for him to learn this process so that he can get up on his own. While he is learning, we help him along the way until he can do it himself.
