The Shetland Sheepdog, often known as the Sheltie, is a breed of herding dog.They are small to medium dogs, and come in a variety of colors, such as sable/white, tri-color, and blue merle. They are vocal, excitable, energetic dogs who are always willing to please and work hard. They are partly derived from dogs used in the Shetland Isles for herding and protecting sheep. If you don't have the land, time, patience, funding to provide excellent food, toys, veterinarian visits, grooming needs, etc we absolutely will not sell you one of kids. If at anytime you are no longer interested in owning a raven farms sheltie DO NOT hesitate to call, we will absolutely take our child back from you. If you have any questions as to why a raven farms sheltie costs what it does: The amount of care and time invested in all of the facilities, the excellent food, the immunizations, the toys, the grooming, the equipment, the heating bills in the winter, the costs of vet bills, record keeping, having certifications done on the sires and dams, their is too much to list. It isn't about the money for us, its about the love for the breed. We are a small family owned business who is gifting the world with the most amazing dogs.
