Hi everyone, first I would like to say I definitely miss all of you and your sweet dogs. I had to come on here and make a post because this sweet old lady, Katie, has become an orphan and is looking for a new home. Her mother passed last year and her dad just recently passed. She is used to being an only pet . She is 10 years old. She has been well groomed and cared for. Katie is looking for a loving home. If anyone is interested in giving this elder dog a home and a place to grieve her owners surrounded by love. Please PM for the contact information.

I know many people were asking exactly what our new opportunity was going to be, and I wanted to give a little update. Unfortunately, my family and I made the very difficult decision that this opportunity was not the right opportunity for us. That exact same day we were turned onto something different and have started that process. We aren’t exactly sure how long it will take, so while I am stuck living in limbo, I decided to go back to one of my favorite places, the Wilderness Trails Zoo in Birch Run! You can usually find me in the office but today I got to go give Miss Bella the, Binturong/bearcat, a nail trim. While she is not vicious, she did not enjoy having me hold her hand. With the help of my new coworker, Emily, I got it done.  I’m having an absolute blast being back in my old stomping grounds and I’m soaking up every minute I can while I’m there. I hope everyone’s doing amazing and will continue to update you guys as we move forward. And again as always, thank you for all the amazing support!! 🐾

Hi, it’s Keri, I am writing this with a heavy heart. After almost 10 years of grooming, I will groom my last dog on July 17th. My family and I have an amazing opportunity that we just can’t pass up. Unfortunately, it is going to require all of my attention and time. I have a list of local Groomers that are accepting new clients, reach out to me if you would like a copy of this list. I can also text you your dogs grooming notes. (please give me a couple days notice before their appointment so I have ample time to get it to you.) Most of all I just want to thank you for allowing me to be a part of your pups’ lives. This has been a wonderful journey, and I’m glad to have shared it with all of you. Take care and good luck. 🐾

** I have had a handful of people reach out to me because they are interested in trying to groom their own dog. I don’t advise this for all dogs. I would hate to know one of my pups got injured because they just didn’t have the right temperament to be groomed by Mom. If you are tossing around this idea, please reach out to me. I will gladly share basic knowledge and help you figure out what tools you might need. Also, even if it’s months or years down the road, if you run into a problem, please reach out to me. Even if it’s as simple as “my blade isn’t cutting.” I can help you troubleshoot and figure out what you need to do.

I had some very nice new clients today that surprised me with a personalized gift!
When they were dropping off cute little Reba for her groom, they let me know that it was her birthday yesterday. I told them my birthday is on Sunday. When they came back to pick her up, they gave me this beautiful Stanley cup! Due to the devastating fact that a lot of my long-term clients are getting older, it seems I have a few gaps in my schedule. I am looking to fill these gaps with small dogs that are under 20 pounds. I provide one on one service, so your dog is typically with me between an hour and a half and two hours. I charge $60 for a full groom, which includes a bath, using a special facial shampoo 2x, followed by whatever shampoo your dog‘s body specifically needs 2x, conditioner, ears plucked and cleaned, a**l glands checked. After the bath, I apply a  finishing spray and then hand dry them  with a HV blow dryer. Of course, this also includes a full body haircut, nail trim, and Bandana! If you have any questions or would like to schedule, please reach out ! ☺️🐾
