Took one of the c**ts on his first trail ride with his owner today.

It’s really nice having owners that care and are involved in the horses training.
Her getting to see how he handled his first ride out was great.

And of course he handled it well.

3 year old buckskin filly finishing up our c**t starting program.

This ain’t all she has accomplished. This is a very well minded filly I’ve had the pleasure of training.
She’s seen and worked over 1,200 head of cattle and has also been a helping hand while she’s been here.

There are two types of equestrians in this world.

The ones that brush manes, tails and full body before they load the horses into their nice slant loads.

Then there’s the ones that take their hand and whipe the dirt off their back to put the saddle on them to load them in the trailer like sardines.

AND THEY MARRY EACH OTHER 😂😂😂

Pictured is my bad equitation riding out a couple of crow hops feeling like a real cowboy, at least I did until I went back and watched the video and realized the horse barely crow hoped.

A new group of goats to work means getting old reliable to help dog break them

This mustang came in for training as already broke. I had seen him rode but realized he would freak out at a trot.
After the first ride i went back and did a lot of groundwork and our second ride was MUCH better.
It took way longer than i think it should have but progress is progress.
