It was a successful day, I think everyone got first touches in! It was an honor it get to work with everyone especially the other amazing clinicians that were there.

Had a change of plans and put on a c**t starting clinic this morning.

First time this Mustang ever had someone on his back.

After lunch I will be gentling and doing first touches with a Mustang.

If you ever find a trainer that says “I won’t let anyone ride my horse because they will mess them up” RUN.I don’t bash other trainers but there are bad trainers out there sadly. Today I was absolutely thrilled to let a friend of mine ride one of my c**ts. The girl can ride so I wasn’t worried about her giving her any bad habits but even if I was I would have still given them both the opportunity because we as trainers have to prepare these horses for other people to ride them. THATS THE JOB, we don’t get it any other way.I sell horses and train for the public and both of the ways I make a living revolve around other people riding my work. As long as they are safe anyone is welcome to ride any of my horses. My only exception is if I’m prepping a not so finished horse for a show, I’d like the person who’s going to be showing it to be the one riding it that week but that’s another thing.I knew this mare would keep my friend safe. In a few short months with lots of inconsistent riding this mare has really become reliable and today I was supper thankful to have her for other whenever we swapped out horses for the 10th time trying to give them a break in this 100° heat but still get the cows worked.

THANK YOU to everyone for helping name the feral filly.

Tamela Ramseys name Raya won with the most likes.

The feral filly (she’s not so feral anymore) will now be known as Raya. She got her first outing today and did great.

Hopefully we can get those feet handled soon.

‼️HELP NAME ME‼️

I picked up this feral filly this morning.
She’s was completely unhandled but in 30 minutes she is leading and enjoying scratches.

She is ribby, hairy and some back bone showing but just a short time of good feeding she will be good as new!
