Luna and Dealer will be expecting English chocolates and blacks coming due any day from the 19th on. Actual date always depends on mother nature and actual conception date so those that are on our deposit wait list, be on the look out. Those that are interested in this litter, feel free to go to our website www.greenacrelabsllc.com, complete a puppy application, wait to hear back from us prior to placing a deposit.

How many do you all see? I've gotten very conflicting counts on this so curious as to what you all are actually seeing or guessing. Those that comments the correct count, we will do a drawing as to who wins a gift card within a week of their arrival. The correct count must include all that survives and didn't survive as it is very common that pups don't always survive for a variety of reasons. Happy counting/guessing!

For those that have asked if Gunner is good with other dogs.

This is Ice and Gunner 1st time meeting. Gunner is not the most friendliest at 1st meet but they can coexist as they have all afternoon. He seems a bit scared more so than anything but I'm sure it can be worked out in time. Definitely supervision needed for him to be together with others. He likes playing keep away more so than anything.

For those of you wanting an update on Gunner. He is getting lots of cuddles and love. (Don't mind the messy hair, it's the life of having a lab around and we be having some fun times around here.) He is a great boy, crate trained, stays in the house without a crate as well and have had no issues of destroying anything or no counter surfing. Phenomenal boy!

I'm quite livid. We were contacted months ago about taking this boy back. They were moving south and weren't able to take him. This is a pup from our Duke and Zoey litter. Again, I had tried and tried to make arrangements months ago but the family didn't respond right away. I also then stated that the only time George would be able to meet him was by Aug 11th and he said great because he had to be moved by the 13th. So we had arranged it for Aug 10th. Closer to that date, we tried to confirm a time and the family said, sorry, next Saturday, the 18th. Said ok, and come on the 16th, we reached out to confirm a time to meet. No response. Come the 17th, I reached out again to set up the meeting time and again nothing. The 18th comes and goes. The 19th comes around and this family wanted me to drop everything, to run and get this baby boy. I have my own pups and dogs to care for and I can not drop everything to accommodate your lack of response and lack of responsibility. I had suggested Wed and again he had suggested Monday. Again, too short notice so I can't. Tuesday we had a big vet appt for 4 dogs to get their testing completed. So no, I can't just drop everything to accommodate something I was trying to arrange months in advance. The family stated they were just gonna have to figure something else out. I immediately responded that you're not taking this poor boy to the pound and he stated he just might have to. So we had some words. This baby boy who is 3.5 yrs old lived with this family since he was 8 weeks old.

Fast forward to Thursday, the 22nd. I got a call from AKC Reunite. They had a chocolate lab sitting at the humane society in Binghamton, NY that was microchipped but unregistered. AKC had called me as I was the purchaser of this microchip and wanted some heads up as to the owner of this dog. I knew which litter log to look for because I immediately assumed this was the chocolate lab baby that we were trying so hard to pickup. Fast forward, after speaking with the Humane Society, they had this baby since the 20th, was turned in as a stray. We arranged for the Humane Society to release this boy to us and we had driven 17 hrs round trip to get this boy out of the shelter. At arrival, they further explained that he was found as a stray tied up to a pole. He may also have a small respiratory infection as well as the State of NY must have health certs done prior to leaving the state. What family does this? I can not fathom how any family could do something like this. How do you accept unconditional love from this sweet boy for 3.5 yrs and yet you tie him to a pole and just leave? This family if you want to call it that, I sure hope you have to answer to your misdoings!

Gunner has been with us 1 night and he is the perfect boy on the 1st night. He also is a bit timid but friendly. He will be up for rehoming in a few weeks. I'd like to get to know him a bit better and take better pictures. If anyone is interested in a sweet chocolate male, please send us a message or go to our website to fill out an application. He is intact for the time being. Anyone from our Duke and Zoey litter, please reach out if you're interested. I know someone from the litter once reached out and I can't remember who that was.
