Life is just better with a little lap dog and Brodie is ready to bring a little joy into your life!

Brodie is a 4 year old miniature poodle coming in at 17 lbs. He is a former puppy mill dog so he is quite shy and slow to warm up but once he does he enjoys cuddling and being pet! He is also still fearful of new sounds and experiences, requiring a lot of patience and routine as he gains confidence! Your patience will be well rewarded as he is such a sweetheart!

He would do best in a home with another confident and patient dog as he draws a lot of confidence and comfort from others. He’s still learning about doggie etiquette and boundaries but he loves to follow the lead of the other dogs which helps him break through some of those fearful new experiences.

While he will happily sleep in bed with you this guy is already crate and potty trained! He is very content in his crate overnight and with regular trips outside he doesn’t have accidents!

This sweet little man is worth the patience it takes to win him over and in return you will have a perfect snuggly lap dog!

🎀 NEW ADOPTABLES 🎀

Meet Holly & Merry! These two are our resident Bichon sisters, each about 3 years old 🐾

Holly & Merry were rescued from a puppy mill and sent to Champaign County shelter where then we picked them up. They have lived a traumatic life but are now ready to find their forever home 🏡

Ideally, these girls would be adopted together as they rely on each other for confidence when establishing a routine. They also will need a fenced in yard and patient owners 🫶🏼

Holly & Merry are pretty skittish but will open and up and snuggle once they trust their owner. For this reason, we wouldn’t recommend a home with kids.
