Dental health is a very important part of your pet’s overall health, and dental problems can cause, or be caused by, other health problems.

Your pet’s teeth and gums should be checked at least once a year by your veterinarian for early signs of problems and to keep your pet’s mouth healthy.

Have your pet’s teeth checked sooner if you observe any of the following problems:

- Bad breath
- Broken or loose teeth
- Extra teeth or retained baby teeth
- Teeth that are discolored or covered in tartar
- Abnormal chewing, drooling, or dropping food from the mouth
- Reduced appetite or refusal to eat
- Pain in or around the mouth
- Bleeding from the mouth
- Swelling in the areas surrounding the mouth

Some pets become irritable when they have dental problems, and any changes in your pet’s behavior should prompt a visit to your veterinarian. Always be careful when evaluating your pet’s mouth, because a painful animal may bite. (Information provided by AVMA)

Call us at 423-775-5619 to schedule your pets dental exam and get a FREE exam when you book their dental at the exam. 🦷

Our phones and internet are back so we are in the process of rescheduling appointments!

Tomorrow we will resume with normal operations from 8:30am-5:00pm. Our parking lot is still very icy so please use caution.

01/17/2024

Tomorrow Wednesday Jan 17th we will be open for urgent, sick appointments, and urgent medication refills only from 11am-3 pm.

Our phones are still down so we will be working with personal cell phones and not able to take credit cards. Our parking lot has not been plowed, but we will salt some of it again in the morning. There may be some problematic spots, however, so please be mindful of your cars ability to navigate the ice. Hopefully we will be fully operational soon! Thank you for being patient!
