Dear Santa,

My name is Isabella and for Christmas I would LOVE a new home. I’m 8 years old but I don’t do well with kids and need a loving home with no kids and preferably no other pets.

I’m a lap dog who loves snuggles and being apart of everything. I love food, especially green beans. I love toys and presents.

I’m a smart girl and know how to sit, shake and sit pretty and “give me some knuckle.”

I love to be apart of everything and would love to be apart of your home.

VET TECH APPRECIATION WEEK! 🐾

The fabulous ladies of South Rhea Animal Hospital go above and beyond to provide excellent care for your beloved fur-babies! They do not get enough credit behind the scenes for all the work they do! From nail trims to x-rays, blood draws and cleaning up p**p. It’s not all glamour but they do it because they have a passion for your pets! Including our wonderful receptionists in the second photo because they never fail to jump in and lend a helping hand when it’s needed. We love them too! 🐾🩵

HOWL-🎃-WEEN is just around the corner and what better way to kickoff of this spooky season than with a Halloween Pet Costume Contest! This contest is open for all creatures great and small!

To enter: Just dress up you pet in their spookiest costume and email a picture to [email protected] to enter! Submissions will be taken up until 6pm on October 29th.

Voting: Photos will be placed on Facebook for PUBLIC voting on October 30th, so tell all of your friends and family to vote!

Winner: The winner of the costume contest will be announced on October 31st. ONE winner will received a FREE exam, FREE bath and $25 Visa Gift Card. (total value over $100)

We have had some generous donations come through and would love to see more! We will be accepting them until the middle of next week.

South Rhea Animal Hospital is going to setup a donation zone in coordination with Greg Walker with Farm Bureau to help send donations to those effected in East, TN. We will take donations all month long. The first round will be sent up on October 18th, so we will be accepting them until October 17th.

Drop Off Location: You can drop off supplies at our clinic Monday-Friday 7am-6pm, Saturday's 8am-12pm.

At South Rhea Animal Hospital, we recognize that for many pet owners, trips to the vet are not exactly pleasant. We’re trying to change that, one appointment at a time. We believe this starts with our warm, inviting atmosphere, which looks, feels and even smells more like a home than a sterile clinic.

We are looking for 2 Veterinary Technician assistants, ideally with previous experience but not required, and 2 Certified Veterinary Technicians to work part or full time at a busy rural practice. Must be team oriented and willing to learn. Room to grow into the position and acquire benefits.
