Socialization is very important for puppies. BUT it must be the right socialization! A friendly dog who will not overwhelming them or harm them but also will not be afraid to correct improper puppy behavior is a must

If you teach them right from the start you never have to undo bad habits❤️. This pup learned to walk properly loose leash at 14 weeks! Look how little correction is needed if she does rush and pull little! She is about 7 months and well on her way to being a fine canine citizen!

Puppies are blank slates! They don't come preprogrammed to know things humans want them to do. Don't miss out on making your dog the best they can be! Start training as soon as you get your pup! Before bad habits are learned.

Short snippets because trying to take video and hold the dog isn't ideal! Beginning of session video here and end of session video in the comments bc fb won't allow me to post both...
A few things to take away from this, though:

Recall is worth it. However, it is not a quick fix!

Getting the dog to want to check in with you instead of tuning you out requires that you are more exciting to the dog than the surrounding distractions!

Hotdogs make a good high value reward!

Keep the food as a reward, not a bribe!

Want to learn how to form a solid recall on your dog? Need help changing your dogs attitude from 'you don't matter outside' to 'where's my human?!' I can certainly help you. This is only 1 short session to begin changing the dogs mind and tune her in to us to begin the journey toward a solid recall!
