Sunday is a pint-sized adventurer with a heart full of love and a past that has made her appreciate the comforts of a forever home. After spending her first three months outdoors, this fast learner has fully embraced the indoor life, discovering a love for warm blankets and a deep appreciation for the finer things, like canned food. Her larger-than-life personality is perfectly matched by her gentle and affectionate nature, which shines brightly once she knows she can trust you. She gets along wonderfully with other cats and small dogs, making her the perfect addition to a multi-pet household. Sunday is ready to fill her new home with her playful antics and a lifetime of endless cuddles, so come meet her and discover the endless supply of happiness she will add to your life.

29 Cats Adopted in September!
September was a month full of love, second chances, and happy tails — 29 amazing cats and kittens found their forever homes!

We couldn’t have done it without our incredible adopters, volunteers, and supporters who make these happy endings possible. Every adoption means another life saved, another heart healed, and another family made whole.

YOUNG ADULT CATS SEEKING THEIR FOREVER HOME!
This is a special request for you to consider adoption of one of our adult cats. These cats are often overlooked in favor of kittens. Adopting an adult feline can be a highly rewarding experience, offering a companion with a predictable temperament and calmer demeanor. Your can visit our adult cats at PetSmart on Feedwire Road or PetSmart by the Dayton Mall. We can also schedule a meet and greet for you to visit a cat that is currently with a foster.

Let us introduce our lineup:

Angela - Female - Beautiful gray tortie who says: I can be timid sometimes because being inside is all new, but once my foster humans stop walking around I make my move. I climb up and curl up on their laps because there is really nothing I love more than a good cuddle (except maybe food that comes from a can). Can I go home with you so we can cuddle?

Mal - Female - Black Long-hair Cat - Mal is beautiful and can be very sweet, but she will need a quieter home without small kids. She will tolerate other cats but definitely isn’t a fan of dogs. Patience and kindness will be key to helping “Mal” settle into her new environment. If you are ready to open your heart and home to this deserving lady, and give her a fresh start and a permanent place to land, please let us know! She may just be the perfect addition to your family and her human she has been waiting on!

Checkers - White/Orange - Male - Shy guy Checkers is a tiny little lover-boy who will melt your heart as he warms up to you. Once he comes to say “hi”, he’ll arch into pets and lean into head scritches, looking up at you with his gorgeous amber eyes for more. Checkers is a quiet and mellow dude, but when he has something to say, he does so with a kittenish little chirp. Checkers wants nothing more than to sit in his cozy cat-tree cuddle bowl by the window and have a little snack and pets every once in a while. Checkers has experience with other cats and small doggos, so would be adaptable to most living situations after slow introductions. Come check out this sweet boy and help give him the life he has always deserved!

Mama Cass - Female - Brown Tabby: Sweet young mom to a litter of 4 and even took on one kitten from a different litter. Mama Cass is playful and chatty, preferring to be beside you rather than picked up. She's a tiny thing and loves her head scritches. Gets along well with other kittens and cats and is ready to get some of her own kitten time in!

Chilli - Calico - Female: Meet Chilli - a gentle. calm calico with a heart full of love. She's the definition of easy going and is happiest when she is lounging beside you and soaking up affection. Chilli is FIV+, but with regular care she can live a long-love filled life.

Hand-raised from a young age, he adores being with people, whether it's for quiet moments by your side or playful interactions. His plush gray coat is just one of his charming features, and he's eager to give and receive endless cuddles. Webster is a handsome and gentle soul who would thrive in a home with another friendly cat or a calm, gentle dog. If you're searching for a sweet boy who finds joy in the simple pleasures, like chasing toys and getting plenty of attention, Webster is ready to be your perfect match.

LARRY ..From his gorgeous tabby coat to his majestic Maine C**n tufted ears, Larry is a testament to the healing power of love and patience. Once a reserved kitten, this sweet boy has blossomed through gentle kindness into a trusting and affectionate companion who adores playing with bell balls and his cardboard scratcher. Once he forms a bond, his affectionate nature truly shines, with his loud, happy purrs and loving head rubs being a precious reward for a gentle voice and a little patience. URGENT: Foster Homes Needed for Cats, Kittens, and New Momma Cats!!
Lifeline Cat Rescue is a foster based rescue. We get several requests a day for assistance and we desperately need your help to save lives! We are in need of foster homes for:

Single Adult Cats: For cats who are stressed in the shelter environment or ones who need a quiet space to decompress and get ready to be adopted so they can show their true personality.

Kittens: Little ones who need a safe home to grow strong and social before they can be adopted.

Pregnant and/or Nursing Mother Cats with Kittens: New moms and their babies are extremely vulnerable and need a calm, safe place to raise their litters.
Your Role as a Foster: You provide love and a safe, temporary home. We provide everything else!

Fostering is a rewarding experience that makes a direct impact on an animal's life. Can you open your heart and home to a cat or kitten in need? Whether you can foster one time a year or multiple times a year, we have cats/kittens that can use your love and help.
