This is teaching "leave it". This teaches him to not just eat something or take something hes not supposed to.
Part 2 actually sorry wrong video but i was also giving them a game for him to "find" stuff. Treats or whatever because thats their nature of the breed. This was just a fun game.
Teaching leave it. This will let him know its not ok to counter surf or to just take food away from people just because he can. And to teach him not to eat something hes not supposed to.
Teaching sit.....its important to get the motion first before saying the command.
Continued from the other 2 videos....
This was about 20min after teaching him he cant be in the same room unless he is calm and quiet.
Posting some more training videos. This is jasper. He is a russel terrier mix and he is very smart and loves training. I have been training him for a month now and things are going great!! This is from last month until a couple wks ago. Still needs work but he is proressing as planned. He went from barking accessively to no barking.
Then we did some leash walking and learning the basics like sit and down. And leave it.
Training daisey on sit/stay, come, sit and down.
She is so smart. More training today with bella. Teaching "drop it" and it took her 5min to know what to do. If anyone wants to adopt her please let me know!! Msg me with any ifo you want to know!! I will get in contact with pawsitive warriors for all paperwork. She is spayed and is UTD with her shots. Shes about 5 or 6yrs old.
Here is another one. I work for this company called rover as well. Its a dog sitting/walking job and this wonderful couple got in touch with me last month to watch her 2 dogs. 1 of which is very shy around new people. Totally understandable. But this one is their newest member and i have been watching them for a couple wks so far. So i thought i would try something with this baby boxer. Shes 12-14wks old, and i was doing some basics like teaching down. She already knew sit. This was week 2 of showing her some stuff. Shes is the cutest!! Her name is daisy.
Doing some continued training with my foster bella. She is a pit mix brindle mix. Shes so smart and gets so excited when it comes to training. Loves kids, not sure about other dogs cause she came from a bad home from what ive been told. Ive been working inside with her due to the weather being so cold so yesterday i did some reinforcements with her outside since it was so nice out. You can see how excited she was. But she gave me all her focus once she knew what was happening.
How it should be.......
(Still working on waiting with boo.....but she seems to pick it up with penny and bella)
Next i will work on sending one dog at a time outside while the others wait. Kinda like in line.
