Dr. Josh Singer is originally from Georgia and became interested in veterinary medicine while living on a ranch in Colorado. When his personal horse, Hawk, fractured his coffin bone. Through the process of rehab and working closely with the ranch’s veterinarian, Dr. Singer knew that veterinary medicine was his calling.
Dr. Singer attended the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2017 with honors. During his time at school, Dr. Singer spent many rotations in the barn and out in the field learning from some of the best surgeons and internists in the country. During his senior year, Dr. Singer received the Large Animal Internal Medicine Award and the Farm Practice Award, both awarded to the top student in his class in those respective fields. Dr. Singer is excited to use the information he learned to help the horse population of Chattanooga and the surrounding areas. After graduation, Dr. Singer has spent some time working at both South Rhea and Sequoyah Animal Hospitals and has gained further experience treating small animal patients as well. Dr. Singer is a members of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Equine Practitioners, and the Hamilton County Veterinary Medical Association.
