Dogs are considered seniors at age 8? 😲 That may seem young to us humans but in dog years that is around 65 years of age!

Here are some things to consider when taking care of a senior dog:

HIP & JOINTS:

Seniors are more susceptible to hip and joint problems. You can incorporate glucosamine and chondroitin into your dog's diet. Usually senior formulas already has this included because it is a common problem. Large breed formulas may also have those added because dogs weighing 65 lb and over usually exhibit hip and joint problems a lot earlier in life. 🦴

Collagen chews help with hip and joint health. They are long lasting and help to keep your dog stimulated. 🤗

SENSITIVE STOMACHS:

Seniors are more susceptible to stomach issues. Foods that they could enjoy before may cause stomach or digestive issues. Bland proteins such as chicken 🐔, turkey 🦃, and fish 🐟 are recommended.

LITTER ROBOT Love your cat but hate cleaning their litter box? Don't worry because we had the solution for you! It's called The Little robot and it's a self cleaning litter box! No scooping or sifting required because it's all automated! How does it work? 😺 Once litter is filled to the appropriate line inside the litter robot, all you have to do is turn it on! The little robot has a weight sensor in it so it can tell when a cat is using it. After the cat leaves the litter robot It waits a minute before starting to rotate. It is able to sift out the poop after every use! What litter to use? 😺 Clay litter works the best! Crystal and pine litter may get stuck in the sifter part of the machine causing problems.
