AJCA member McKenzie Klemkosky had big plans to attend junior nationals in Springfield, MO this summer and run for the junior board. Her world was turned upside down a few weeks ago when she suffered a major stroke. But in true McKenzie fashion she is fighting hard and improving every day.

The AJCA board of directors wanted to show their support for McKenzie and have created this shirt. All proceeds from the sale of these shirts will be donated to McKenzie & her family to help them cover the extensive medical expenses to come.

Shirts will be delivered to junior nationals in Springfield, MO. If you will not be attending junior nationals but still want to support through a shirt purchase we can work with you to receive your shirt.

Get dialed in for canning season! Reach out to your local extension!

Dial gauge accuracy is key to safe canned food. Following USDA recommendations, pressure canners with dial gauges should be tested for accuracy each year. Contact your local Ohio State University Extension office for gauge testing.

It is Board Member Monday! Meet Raymond Beneker, another one of the AJCA's At Large Directors!

Ray is from Ross, Ohio where he owns and operates 4R Farms and Show Cattle. He is no stranger to the AJCA as it is his third year serving on the board. When asked what his favorite part about his service has been, he says "meeting new people!" Thanks to the Victory Garden program, a partnership between the Ohio Department of Agriculture and Extension, free garden seed packs will be available this spring in 64 of Ohio’s 88 counties.
