Brrrrr! It looks like this week has the possibility for extreme cold temps and windchills! As much as this girl loves winter and cold, safety of your dogs (and our walkers) is our upmost priority. As with all extreme weather situations, it is the discretion of our walkers as to the length of time we will keep your dog outside. A good rule of thumb that we follow is that if it is 20° or less, time outside will be enough for a quick potty break and to stretch the legs.

“But my dog loves the cold!”

We do too my furry friends! But please understand if we decide to do a backyard potty and then come in for indoor playtime, it is to ensure your dog remains the healthiest and happiest doggo possible for years and years to come.

💔🐾💔🐾💔🐾💔🐾 Today is one of those days where my job is extremely hard. Those of you who know me know how attached I get to the animals under my care. Today I was with a kitty in his final moments since his family could not get home in time. I will miss you my sweet boy Decker. Thank you for being my friend for these years. I loved our couch cuddles, sunshine snuggles and all of the head scratches. These memories I will cherish forever. I love you little man. There is a Decker sized hole in my heart that will never be filled. Fly high sweet boy. Run across the rainbow bridge! All of your friends are waiting for you. 🌈 💔🐾💔🐾💔🐾💔🐾
