It was great spending time with Dr. Laura Schwanebeck as she explained all the ways rehabilitation can benefit our patients. Even though we live in Paradise, parasites that can affect you and your pets can be found right in our backyard! Protect your pets and keep them healthy with monthly parasite preventions and annual parasite testing. Annual f***l and blood tests check for a variety of parasites and the diseases they transmit including heartworms, tick diseases (lyme, anaplasmosis, and ehrlichiosis), and intestinal parasites (hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, and giardia). Someone knows where the treat jar is! Treats are just one of the ways the Paradise staff bonds with your pets. There is never a shortage of personal attention, treats, and belly rubs. Anyone with a nervous Nellie can stop by any time for a "happy visit". Grab a treat and a scratch behind the ears and show them coming to the vet isn' t so scary.

Thank you to everyone that helped make our Pet Photos with Santa event such a success! Thanks to your generosity we were able to donate an overflowing box of toys to Toys for Tots, $85 and supplies to the Neighborhood Center for families in need, and $135 to the Florida United Methodist Children's Home. It is with grateful hearts that we celebrated this holiday season and greatly appreciate your continued support.

It is with great sadness that we say farewell to Colton as he embarks on a new adventure in Tennessee. Many of us have been friends and colleagues with Colton for almost 20 years! We have watched him grow into a spectacular young man that is caring, compassionate, hard working, dependable, and above all, an incredible friend. We wish Colton nothing less than all the joy and happiness he deserves, and secretly hope that he comes back very soon. 😭
