Check me out!! 12 days after FCE diagnosis.
Took a short walk with mom after the rain stopped. You can hear my paw slapping the ground. Still have some over coming to do but I'm doing great! M.π

Mercedes Update: 9-10 days after FCE diagnosis
Walking very well, can sit/squat with leg inward. She is going down & up front steps on an angle. Her toes no longer stay back and she corrects her positioning and foot placement each time.
Quick walking & running are still problematic as her leg can't keep up but that doesn't stop her from trying.
We all are very thrilled with her progress and confident to continue to see more.

Yesterday's video of my progress. (Day 6)
I'm doing exceptionally well mom says. She FaceTimed dad my progress and he was thrilled to see how great I'm doing.
I can't walk too fast or run or my leg can't keep up just yet but I think it will in no time.

Mercedes Update:
DAY 5 after FCE diagnosis.
Mom ha been home for two full days now with us all and tentatively working with Mercedes.
Video taken first thing this morning of Mercedes bringing her foot in, balancing and placing weight on it when walking. Still drags it when turning or moving too fast. Moms been working with her on squatting and siting to bring leg in so she doesn't fall over or potty on herself. She has slight reaction when mom rubs her foot.
I will make sure mom used better lighting tomorrow when she takes video. B. π
