It's getting to be that time! After (9) days apart, I'll be retuning on shift tomorrow and reuniting with my best girl, Lillie!

It's going to be tough to get back into that fast pace of rescue. I'm sure I have MANY pending voice mails, complaints, possibly some dog bites needing to be addressed etc. Please just bear with me, I'll be sure to get back to everyone.

The one thing that I'm looking forward to is seeing this smiling face once again. She's going to be my priority tomorrow. Tomorrow just so happens to mark yet another month that she has been living behind bars. (8) months in for this girl

Jerome Horwitz, famous for playing CURLY in "THE THREE STOOGES", was known to all as a protector of dogs. Curly's contract with Columbia Pictures included a clause that allowed his dogs to accompany him on the studio lot. Columbia limited it to no more than two dogs at a time, this due to the puppies' unplanned on-camera appearances from time to time. You can still see those surprise dog on set invasions in the first few short films. Typically surrounded by various dogs, Curly was known to come home with a stray dog ​​and foster it until he could find it a permanent home. When the Stooges were out on the road, Curly took it upon himself to find a new home for at least one stray dog ​​in every town they visited. Curly is estimated to have saved and rescued more than 5,000 dogs in his lifetime. This makes him a man ahead of his time, with a very admirable concern for man's best friend. ❤

Hi my name is Kirsten and I have been waiting for a family of my own. I am in CT. I am 3 years old and weigh 22 pounds. My foster mom and sisters are great but there is nothing like having your own. I have lots of energy for walks and jogging, love to be near humans and I have 4 fosters sisters from a Yorkie to a boxer so size doesnt matter to me. I am house trained and go in my crate when mom goes out. I need a fenced yard to run and play. I was treated for heartworms and I am now negative. I haved learned to wait my turn for treats...we all have to sit and wait....I would not be good around small children because I may knock them over. I do have a bit of a herding tendency at times. I do love to cuddle with mom and oh my gosh do I love all kinds of toys!!

How is Wolf still available?! He is dog AND cat friendly! We don’t have too many of those in rescue! Wolf is 6 years old and weighs about 75 lbs. He loves to play with his foster brother, play in the sprinkler, and with his toys! This boy is just amazing and someone will be lucky to adopt him 🥰
