🐾This is always hard for me- this summer has been awesome seeing all my groom dogs and owners! I am booked solid until I go back to school August 16th. I miss everyone every winter💕 thank you all for always being so patient, kind, supportive, and understanding. I have the best groom clients any groomer could ask for! I will be open to groom during breaks! 🐾

🐾I know I say this every year- but I still have requests to shave double-coated dogs. Please know- I will not shave double-coated breeds unless it is an emergency case and is required for the dogs health (ie- extreme matting). I know it is a common myth that it keeps the dog “cooler in the summer” but it actually does the opposite. Their coat serves to regulate their temperature and that is what keeps them cooler. If you shave it off- you take away that regulation. Years ago, I actually believed the same- so I wouldn’t judge anyone that didn’t know this. What is important is to know your dogs breed and the temperature it can tolerate outside and a regular grooming to keep the coat healthy and maintained. Be safe! It’s going to get hot!!!☀️🐾
