We are accepting new clients and offer same-day urgent care appointments. Our skilled veterinary team can offer you and your pet inpatient and outpatient care. Your pet may need vaccinations, a spay or neuter, dentistry, x-rays, cold laser therapy or a nail trim.

🚫 Danger Alert for Dog Owners! Xylitol and Birch Syrup 🚫

Dog parents, did you know that xylitol, a sweetener found in sugar-free gum, candies, and even some peanut butters, can be deadly to our furry friends? 🐶 Just a small amount can cause rapid insulin release, leading to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), seizures, liver failure, or even death. Birch syrup also contains xylitol, so keep it far away from your pups!

🛑 Signs of Xylitol Poisoning in Dogs:

Vomiting
Loss of coordination
Lethargy
Seizures
If you suspect your dog has ingested xylitol, contact your vet immediately! Let’s keep our pups safe and healthy. ❤️

Fireworks can be scary for pets, but here are some tips to help them stay relaxed:

Create a Safe Space: Set up a cozy area with their favorite blankets and toys.
Play Calming Music: Soft music can help drown out the noise.
Use Pheromones: Feliway for cats and Adaptil for dogs can reduce anxiety.
Offer Treats and Toys: Keep them engaged with treats and puzzle toys.
Stay Close: Your presence is comforting.
Close Windows and Curtains: Muffle the sound and block flashes.
