Hi, my name is Atticus! My mom told me that I was coming to work with her today because she “had a surprise for me”. Turns out that Norma was back home from that weird daycare place called “college” where she has to learn how to lose sleep and howl into books. Water usually comes out of her eyes when she howls but I haven’t figured out how to do that one yet because my paw-rents usually just tell me to shut up when I try.

Anyways, she’s back in town and I thought we were gonna play fetch and I was gonna get some extra belly rubs but the joke was on me because the next thing I know, Norma’s checking my ears and putting some cold scratch-a-scope thingy to my chest and calling it “practice”. Lady, I punk my big brother around and sniff butts for a living… I’m beyond saving.

Needless to say, I was out numbered and even though my mom is making me say that “I feel honored” to be a practice patient, I am still really glad that my Aunt Norma is here for a visit. She always brings a joy to the clinic and a wag to our tails!
