ATTENTION PRODUCERS: Brucellosis (Bangs) vaccine is currently on a manufacturing backorder. If you wish to have your heifers vaccinated before one year of age, please give us a call so that we can put you on a hold list until we receive more vaccine.
Hopefully, this is a temporary shortage, but we will try to be as accommodating as we can. Thank you for your understanding!

Meet Dr. Hailey Cain!🩺

❤️ Tell me about your family!
My husband Tanner and I welcomed our first child, Marcie into the world back in May. We also have 2 golden retrievers and a border collie.

🥼 How did you decide you wanted to be a vet?
I grew up on a small hobby farm with a little bit of everything, but mostly goats and I really loved animals. I also worked at a salebarn in Jackson, MN. I was about to work closely with the vet there and really enjoyed the work!

🐾 What is your favorite part of the job?
I enjoy that every day is different. Some days it’s cats and dogs, some days it’s cattle work. I like the variety and really enjoy getting to know the pet owners and livestock producers.

🐐 What is your favorite animal to work with?
I really enjoy goats since I grew up with them!

Meet Dr. Katie Hunsucker!🩺
Dr. Katie recently moved to Cavour with her husband and two little girls. Here are some fun facts about Dr. Katie:

🏡 Where are you originally from?
Born and raised in Eastern Montana.

💉 What is one fun fact about yourself?
I lived in Rwanda and did vet work there for twelve weeks.

🐄 What is your favorite animal to work with and why?
I love cattle! Cattle were made by God to be resilient and hardy animals. Their ability to turn pretty much anything into feed so we have beef to eat, and their ability to wall off infection, both amaze me daily.

❤️ What is your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part of my job is watching producers and their families make forward progress in their operations, so their children have a future on the ranch, and so they can better feed the world.
