It is soups season and what better way to make a nutritious soup than by making your own delicious, homemade broth from chicken backs!!

We have LOTs of chicken backs in stock, only $2.50/lb! Packaged in quantities ranging from about 4 lb/pack to 13 lb/pack.

Chicken backs are nutrient rich and a great source of collagen, all of which are released from the bone into the broth during simmering for us to consume and benefit from.

UPDATE: The half is sold! One whole is left. Can either go as a whole or will break into 2 halves.

We have 1 whole hog and 1 half hog available for Feb butcher date! Whole or half hogs are custom cut to your specifications and by far the most cost effective way to stock up on safe and humanely raised meat! Cost is $3.50/lb hanging weight plus butcher costs. Hogs will go to Bichelmeyer Meats in KCK for processing.

Our hogs are pasture raised!

For those interested in raising your own pork, we have 2 litters that will be weaned next weekend. Let us know if you are interested in feeders and/or breeders!

Whole chickens are back in stock ($6.25/lb and ham steaks are on sale($8/lb, regularly $12/lb)!! Plus we still have boneless pork chops in packs of 2 or 4 ($10/lb) available and some pork butt roast ($12/lb)!!

We’ve also got chicken backs in stock for $2.50/lb or chicken liver and hearts for $4/lb.

Message us to place an order! Pick-up at the farm by appt or get free delivery within De Soto or Eudora on orders of $100 or more (must be present at time of delivery).

Don’t forget to include farm fresh eggs in your order for $4/dz!

We will be at the final Ottawa Kansas Farmer's Market of the year on Wed, 30Oct, from 4-6!! Get your orders in now as we will have farm raised, cage free chicken back in stock!! Breasts $12/lb, leg quarters $5.75/lb, whole $6.25/lb. Liver, heart, gizzards, and backs also available, but order ahead on those by noon on Wed!!

Also, pork stock is running low so stock up now for the winter on smoked ham steaks ($12/lb) and pork chops ($10/lb)!! We do have just a few butt roasts and packages of bacon available as well (both $12/lb)!!

We will only be bringing a very small handful of tallow products, so get any tallow orders in by Tuesday at 5 as the on hand selection will be very small.

And of course we will have our farm fresh eggs as well for $4/dz or $6/18 pack!!
