Rooster Refuge of Central FL is back up and running. You can see all the debris I have to clean up! It took all day yesterday but it’s done. I just have to run power to the fence and secure the 4 corners. As of now I have 3 tractors open that can hold up to 4 roosters each for a short time. I take donations to help with feed and bedding till I find homes for them. I can’t take in anymore tiny guys, medium to large fowl is all I can take right now. My intent is to build another section just for the little guys, I end up holding them indefinitely so I need something more perminant for them. Right now we are welcoming any items like fencing or wood for building materials. Please reach out if you have stuff to donate. TIA!!!

I have a few openings for some sweet Roos needing good homes. It’s hard to take in roosters that attack people and rehome them. As long as they’re sweet with people I can find homes for them. If you just need them gone I can help with that too.

On another note:

This little guy is still available. He is a bantam Rhode Island Red that is super sweet and loves hugs and petting. He was raised by a young boy and loves children. I’m holding onto him for the right fit, I won’t let him go unless he’s going to be handled daily. He won’t be happy unless he is cuddled. Pm me if you think you’re the right fit
