Last year was my first time growing these beautiful Anemone flowers. They are an early spring flower and one that you won’t see in any supermarket bouquets! I just love these beauties!

Every February I begin watching for the tulips to begin their grand display- first a little peek of green, then finally a bud. The past few years have taught me that the different colors bloom at different times, so we plant ours as a mix to insure that every single row has something blooming each week! These red and pink are probably my favorite of all! Follow along as we get closer to Tulip season and be the first to know when the first blooms burst open! 🌷

I learned how to garden from my grandparents. My grandmother especially loved growing flowers and shared that and so much more with me throughout my life. She never got to see my tulip fields but the very first tulip bloomed the day she entered heaven. I know she would have loved strolling through the rows with me. Over the years I've shared many bouquets with friends, family, and people near and far. Missionaries have received bouquets and seeds from my garden. What joy a beautiful bouquet can bring! I'm continually amazed at the variety of flowers God created for us to enjoy and it is an honor to share these with so many people each year!

The first year we planted tulips in 50 foot rows behind my new greenhouse that my husband designed and built for me. My goodness how I love spending time in this greenhouse! It has become the centerpiece of the Tulip Farm and summer garden. My daughter also helped us build it and she built my long multipurpose bench inside. I'm so thankful for my husband and daughter who are my biggest cheerleaders! We expanded from 6,000 tulips our first year to over 50,000 tulips in our 3rd year!!! The greenhouse is the centerpiece and such a wonderful spot to snap some great photos! 🌷

The first garden was planted in 2020 at the top of the highest hill on our property! We named it "Rocky Top" because there were so many river rocks when we turned the soil for the first time. The only flowers planted were Zinnias and they bloomed like crazy all summer. We abandoned that garden area in 2024 but still had volunteer Zinnias in the area last summer. It is the #

2020 was the year of C*vid, when the whole world shutdown and we were cut off from everyone we loved and things were so uncertain. It was also the year we bought our land. The beginning of Sanctuary Ridge Farm. The year we started to dream some big dreams! 5 years later and this view looks so different now! Looking forward to 2025!

Happy New Year!

Molly and Pete have been kept separate for the past 11 days. I had already weaned all the puppies 3 weeks ago but wanted to keep Molly in the barn with the remaining pups for security. When I brought her in today they were both so, so excited to see each other. It was the sweetest reunion! Lots of nuzzling and kisses 🥰

7 weeks of puppy love! It’s hard to believe it’s time for them to go home to their new families. Two boys went home this week and our little Pete is inside doing great with crate training and potty training. He already sleeps all night and is training like a champ💗 I’m ready for mama Molly to come inside- I’ve missed her being with me all the time. I’ve loved every minute from helping deliver these puppies to seeing the joy on the families faces as they leave. Puppy love is fur real💗💗💗🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶
