Oh Buddy. This is Buddy’s sixth time staying at Camp Kitty. Up until his last stay he never left his cabin. He rarely left his carrier during the day. And now look at him! He’s feeling so comfortable and confident. This makes us so happy!

PSST! Murphy wants to talk to you about parking at Camp Kitty. There are days when the parking lot is inexplicably full in front of camp. If you are dropping off or picking up and can’t find a place to park please feel free to park in the area next to the wheelchair ramp. It’s not a designated spot, but it doesn’t matter if you’re hauling cats and their belongings in and out of the building.

Check Meowt Monday! You can take cat off the street but you can’t take the street out the cat. The saying goes something like that. Meet Socks! He has a living home where he gets regular meals daily, but he will cut you if you look at him wrong or right or not looking at all.

Socks is extra special to us. He first started boarding at Camp Kitty in June 2010 - exactly one year after we opened for business. He was found as a kitten in his human’s backyard. The family never had a cat before and had questions about how to take care of one. Well, 14 years later Socks is still living his best cat life. And still coming to Camp Kitty 💕.

Let’s talk about this little ball of fur named Kenya. This is her 6th time staying at Camp Kitty. The first time she boarded she barely came out of her cabin. The second time she ventured out of her cabin only to find a spot on a shelf to lay down. By the third time she finally thought it was safe to walk around the lobby. And with this stay and her last one she wanted out of her cabin immediately. She even busts through doors that aren’t latched shut to get where she wants to be. Little Kenya has come a long way!

Today was Camper’s last day at Camp Kitty. We didn’t even know it until around 4pm when we were told his foster was picking him up this evening. Talk about a whirlwind. He’s living with until his forever home comes along. Keely & Becks aren’t strangers to Camper. He saw them last week when they boarded! We will miss Camper, but we know a happy future is on the horizon.
