Update: the golf course checked back in with me and they're still looking for it, it hasn't been spotted again. They asked me to tell everyone that people absolutely can not come out there trying to find it themselves, so please be respectful of their property. They're doing everything they can right now to try and find it and capture it, so please don't cause them any problems or make this even harder to get this guy caught.

Appears to be a pretty young green iguana.

I'm not really sure where to even start on trying to catch it, but it's about to get pretty cold at night and he won't survive much longer outside.

A young sulcata tortoise was just turned into our rescue that was found on the West end of Decatur near Dennis/Forrest

Just wanted to make a post to let everyone know my children and I were in a bad accident last week, that totalled our only vehicle. Everyone is physically ok. But I wanted to apologize for all of the unread messages I have right now, it has been non stop chaos since this happened and will be until we're able to get into a different vehicle. Please be patient with us, I will get back to everyone as soon as I have the time and mental energy to do so.

We want to thank everyone that braved the heat to come out and support us today.
If we missed any of you I apologize, we had to take frequent trips back home to give the kids and animals breaks from the heat.
We got at least 2 adoptions at the show today, so I will call that a success!

On Saturday June 1st while we were out of town for a youth day event with our reptiles, a person that was hired to do work on our neighbors yard, came out and completely destroyed our backyard, without ever even speaking to us.

I have been working on growing specific grass back there for the tortoise since March and had finally gotten it all filled out back there, so we were about to start our fencing project to fence that area in for the tortoise,our dogs and our children.

Now it is completely gone.
The person that did it refuses to turn over insurance information or return my messages.

We are asking for any kind of help or guidance to make this person be held accountable for the major damage he has done to our property and help getting our yard back to where it was

Our rescue animals, personal pets and children just lost their yard for the summer
