Soooo did you think we just trained labs???

We do all RETRIEVER BREEDS

We have our fair share of GSP’s and other breeds too!!

This is REMI Page

She’s here for our gun dog program.
She is full of personality. She’s a whole vibe! She jumps at the sight of her own reflection from the pond. She is waterhose OBSESSED! She loves going after grasshoppers and will get some major zoomies.

Her love language is words of affirmation and treats! When you say “good girl” she shows how proud she is and will hold her head high!

Yellow Rose Hounds for Hero’s SH - “Marley” owner Kay Scott of Yellow Rose Retrievers.

Marley has been with us from the ground up and currently working with JC to achieve her Master Hunter Title.
Marley is a very talented retriever but her special gift has to be her PAWsitive Attitude!
Marley never has a bad day, gives 100% everyday to her work and trainer. She loves her owner, her trainer, every bird she retrieves, any stranger that makes eye contact with her and she’s a sucker for snacks!

From the canine encounters site
The psoas muscle in dogs is a key muscle that runs from the lumbar spine to the femur, playing an essential role in hip movement and stabilization. Psoas issues can arise from factors such as:

1. Injury or Strain: Overexertion, trauma, or improper movement can lead to strains.

2. Poor Conditioning: Lack of exercise can weaken the muscle, making it more susceptible to injury.

3. Age-Related Changes: Older dogs may experience muscle atrophy or degenerative changes.

Prevention

1. Regular Exercise: Maintain a balanced routine that includes strength training and flexibility exercises.

2. Proper Warm-Up: Ensure a warm-up before intense activities to prepare the muscles.

3. Weight Management: Keep your dog at a healthy weight to reduce strain on muscles and joints.

4. Avoid Sudden Movements: Encourage gradual changes in activity levels to prevent injury.

5. Veterinary Check-Ups: Regular vet visits can help identify any potential issues early on.

Psoas injuries are not among the most common injuries in dogs, but they can occur, particularly in active or athletic breeds. Strains or injuries to the psoas muscle often happen due to overexertion, improper movement, or trauma. While not as frequently seen as other injuries (like hip dysplasia or ligament tears), they can cause significant discomfort and mobility issues if they do occur. If you notice signs of pain or difficulty moving in your dog, it's important to consult a veterinarian for a proper evaluation.

If you suspect a psoas issue in your dog, consult a veterinarian for proper diagnosis and treatment.
