This page is dedicated to showcasing my training abilities with different horses. I’ve spotlighted some of the horses I’ve been thankful to work with over the years but I’d like to take the time to introduce myself.

Ive dedicated my life to the horse. I grew up on the back of a horse and never got off 🤪 I’ve spent my life working in the horse industry, everything from cleaning stalls and scrubbing tanks to being able to ride under some of top professionals in my field now. I’ve learned a lot and covered a lot of miles just chasing horses 😅

I’ve spent years refining my horsemanship skills, feel and timing of a horse, and I will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. I read articles, watch videos of some of my favorite c**t starters and trainers, constantly ask questions and take advice from those on a higher level than me as well as try to educate others on how to achieve a better understanding of horsemanship with their four legged partner.

Shaping my life around horses has really taught me how to handle emotions better, how to communicate in a better way and how to be humble, amoung many many other things. I absolutely love what I do and couldn’t see myself doing anything else in life. I enjoy learning and teaching others how to form that direct line of communication they need with their equine partner.

Id love to have the opportunity to help others communicate better with their horses. 💫💫I have two openings coming available! C**t starting, problem horses, consignments, tune ups and seasoning younger horses! We provide excellent care and communication while your equine partner is with us. We value horsemanship and strive to set horses up with the tools they need to ensure a solid foundation. We work closely with the owner in order to solidify the line of communication between horse and owner. 💫💫

🤠We are now offering to season horses as well. Will offer a package to board and haul to rodeos/jackpots for seasoning horses who haven’t been hauled much or at all but are ready to start being exposed to the rodeo atmosphere. Horses will be consistently hauled and entered in events. 🤠
Tune ups and consignment openings are available as well!

🐮All horses, no matter the program they are in, will be exposed to cattle, other horses, trail riding, arena work, dogs, kids, flags, trailer loading, and anything else I can pull out of my toolbox that will help develop them into an honest member of society.

‘Jolene’ is a stunning 20 year old mare that’s been there done that, she is lovable and gentle. Stands around 15hh. If you need an older ranch style horse to pack around the littles she is your girl. No buck, rear, bite, kick, she is absolutely a gem to have in your string! Same horse every time. Don’t let her age scare you, Jolene is ready to ride and will probably outlast your younger horses. Fancy broke and has all the buttons as well. Loads onto anything, will stand tied and for a bath. Requires some maintenance but nothing major. UTD in shots/coggins, just had her teeth done. This beautiful buckskin stands around 15hh and is ready to hit the performance scene! He has an amazing personality, stands tied, bathes, leads, loads, lunges and is well mannered. He is not for a beginner as he does have more go than whoa. Would make a jam up barrel horse and has been lightly started on the pattern. I also think he would make a nice rope horse as well and the longer I have him the more he will be exposed to roping, tracking the sled, etc as well as refining his work on the barrel pattern. Has been used for lessons, trails, sorting, etc. Gentle mare, loves to be around people, gets along with other horses except around feeding time (she’s protective of her food, only to other horses). Take her anywhere you wanna go, loads easy, ties, bathes, has a nice stop. Great for someone learning to ride. Same horse whether she’s rode everyday or sits for a month. ISO a working student/intern position. This can be a paid position depending on experience and work ethic with the option to bring in an outside horse as well!
Duties include (but not limited to):
-feeding/watering (scrubbing water tanks)
-stall cleaning
-turning horses in/out
-assisting in training
-some barn maintenance (yard work, unloading feed/hay, pressure washing, arena dragging, etc)

This is an opportunity for anyone wanting to learn how to properly start c**ts and utilize good horsemanship. There will be riding apart of the job so experience is preferred but not a deal breaker as I can teach you everything I know about starting/developing young horses if you are eager to learn. I am looking for someone who is a self starter, I will not hold your hand throughout the day once you have learned the job. I need someone who will pay attention to detail and care for the horses in my program as if they belonged to you. Facility is located in Pilot Point, Texas.
Housing is not provided at this time but can be discussed for the right person.

Miss Hazel ♥️

This rescue mare came in to become more manageable to handle. She will be learning to accept a halter and a human touch so that can she make a safe trip to her forever home in a few weeks. When she first came to see me she was always looking for a way out, a chance to escape whether that meant jumping fences or running you over. Her actions were extremely fear based and getting dangerous. She is coming along nicely, learning to think about things instead of overreacting and triggering flight mode. She is slowly learning that being around people can mean quiet, calm and safe. Stay tuned to see her progress!! #LSHorsemanship
