When working with reactive dogs, it’s always important to start indoors. A calm, low-distraction environment helps dogs learn new skills without feeling overwhelmed.

In this video, you will see that Misti is training in one part of the room while another dog is training across the room!

Once she is comfortable, we can gradually close the distance a little a time and eventually we’ll be able to move those behaviors outdoors, where real-life challenges happen!
